Training Programs

The Lifeworks Group Pty Ltd is the parent company of Speed Business Networking, and has a range of training programs of various durations that business, from the smallest to the largest, can use to grow and improve.  These range from communications training, to leaderships development, to the nuts and bolts of more effective marketing.

These programs have in common the fact that they are all evidence based, meaning that are right up to date with modern practice, and proven by rigorously-collected, quantitative data.

Whilst "feel better", or "the staff report more confidence" is an admirable outcome, it is meaningless unless more rigorous and objective data accompanies qualitative data.  In our experience, even the biggest of our resource companies are currently placing far too much store in qualitative data, with almost zero measures in place to ensure that training is adding in any real way to the health of the company.  Bottom line measures are almost entirely absent.

Our strict policy is that no training programs are initiated without appropriate consultation with relevant stakeholders, and our training programs are available only to individuals and companies who are using quantitative data measurement to assess outcomes.  We put our money where our mouth is, and assure that you do too, by collecting data before and after the training process.  It's all about accountability!

Examples of training programs which can be easily customised for your organisation are:

Take Your Team to the Top - A sales training program that has been designed to at least double the current turnover of your existing sales team.  Focus is not on "closing" or other conventional but basically untested concepts.  Instead we focus on high-level communication skills and systematisation of the sales equation.  The program is typically delivered 1 day per week for 4 weeks, with a tracking process over the following 30 days which may be managed extremely easily in-house.

Creative Problem Solving - Without exception companies hold within them a vast powerhouse of expertise and experience, as well as potential for genius.  This short program uses a half-day session to teach basic principles, and then mentors attendees through a real-life business challenge in a further session.

Dyna-Charged Communication - Much of the stress experienced in business today is a result of poor relations between co-workers, mostly because of sub-standard communication skills.  This program teaches communication techniques from neuro-linguistics that enable both deeper understanding of others, and clearer and more precise communication, improving relationships and cutting down on errors and rework, for greater satisfaction and profits!  This program can range from 1-14 days.

Stress Management - A Very Different Approach - It is estimated that some 70% of absenteeism is due not to an employee's personal life, but due to workplace stress!  The problem is that if this has been occurring for any length of time, you can be certain that conditioned responses are now in play, to the extent that the person is powerless to combat them!  As the pioneer of treatment for anxiety and other stress reactions in this country, we are well-placed to demonstrate and teach staff members how to permanently eliminate their unhelpful emotional reactions to people and events, and gain a greater sense of control over their emotions and behaviours.  This program is usually delivered over a half-day or day, with follow-up as required.

Fees:  Our fees are based on a day rate of $AU3500.
