What is the
difference between My Speed
Business Network, and Speed
Business Networking?
How can you afford to provide
all these resources for free?
What is the
difference between My Speed
Business Network, and Speed
Business Networking?
Speed
Business Networking is a live
networking community that is
growing as Founders come forward
to either begin a new networking
hub in their region, or to bring
their existing networking
organisation into the group.
Live networking groups require
an annual membership fee, of
which 90% is retained by the
Founder. Founders and
Members of Speed Business
Networking must commit to
following the ethical principles
and proven methodologies of
Speed Business Networking.
My Speed
Business Network on the other
hand is an on-line community
that not only enhances
networking activities, but
provides powerful
business-building tools for
members. There is no
charge to be a member of My
Speed Business Network.
These days
if a business is not using
on-line resources to support
growth and development, it is,
sooner or later, going to find
that it is unable to compete
with more technologically-savvy
competitors. That's why we
strongly suggest that business
owners and business
professionals join both Speed
Business Networking (if there is
a convenient hub) and My Speed
Business Network. For all
the obvious reasons!
How can you
afford to provide all these
resources for free?
Our parent
company, The Lifeworks Group Pty
Ltd, has invested heavily in
building up these resources.
Since 2003 when we first
formalised the Speed Business
Networking "way", we have
directed a very large percentage
of profit into development of
more resources for SME's, and
this includes all the free
resources you see here.
Our rationale
for that is fairly emotional.
You could say that we were so
disturbed and disgusted at the
95% failure rate for SME's, a
failure rate that is especially
insidious because it is totally
unnecessary, that we reached a
point of "enough is enough"!
The answers are available, and
we don't see anyone else,
including various government
departments of small business,
doing anything very sensible
about it.
And Lifeworks
already enjoys strong income
from its twin activities of
corporate consulting and
clinical research and services,
so it's an investment in the
health of SME's that we can
afford to make.
